BREAKING: Everton submit £6.8m bid to sign new 22 year old Player

According to recent transfer reports from Italy, Everton have made a £6.8 million bid to acquire a 22-year-old defender this summer.

The Blues have already made significant progress in their summer transfer activities, securing deals for Jake O’Brien, Iliman Ndiaye, and Jesper Lindstrom, the latter joining on loan from Juventus.

However, the departure of key midfielder Amadou Onana to Aston Villa is a notable setback. Additionally, there have been ongoing transfer rumors involving Jordan Pickford, Jarrad Branthwaite, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin potentially leaving Goodison Park.

These developments underscore the necessity for Everton to make further acquisitions before the transfer window closes. Recently, the club has been linked with several potential signings, including midfielders Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City and Richard Rios from Palmeiras. Reports suggest that Everton are leading the race to sign Phillips, ahead of Aston Villa.

Finding a replacement for Onana seems to be a priority, given his significant impact in the midfield. Strasbourg’s Habib Diarra has also emerged as a potential target for manager Sean Dyche.

In terms of attacking options, Everton may need to identify a successor for Calvert-Lewin or someone who can provide additional competition. Tammy Abraham, who may depart Roma after three years, has been linked with a move to Everton.

On Saturday, Corriere dello Sport reported, via Goodison News, that Everton have submitted a £6.8 million offer for Hellas Verona right-back Jackson Tchatchoua. The proposal includes two bonuses.

Tchatchoua appears to fit the profile of what Dyche is seeking for the right-back position as the new Premier League season approaches. He represents a long-term investment and could potentially start immediately. Currently, Seamus Coleman, Ashley Young, and Nathan Patterson are the options in that role, but the former two are aging and might be better suited as squad players rather than key starters.
