Everton are experiencing a busy summer amid potential club takeover developments and have already secured several new players to strengthen their squad. Among the notable signings are Iliman Ndiaye and Jesper Lindstrom, with young midfielder Tim Iroegbunam joining from Aston Villa.
Despite these additions, the Toffees are still pursuing further reinforcements. According to Fabrizio Romano, one potential target is Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
In his daily briefing for CaughtOffside, Romano discussed Phillips’ situation at Man City, revealing that Everton and other clubs have been in contact with his agents.
“There’s no major update yet on Kalvin Phillips’ situation. Everton have been linked, and my understanding is that Everton and many other clubs have spoken with his agents, although at the moment it’s not something close or imminent,” Romano stated. “I’m told it can take some days to assess all the options and then enter into advanced talks.”
