Ramon Sosa has posted a cryptic message on social media following reports that Nottingham Forest’s efforts to sign the winger have been unsuccessful.
The Paraguay international has been the center of much speculation recently, with the Reds reportedly among the clubs interested in his $20 million (£15.5m) release clause. Strengthening the wide positions is a priority for head coach Nuno Espirito Santo, and Forest were said to have engaged in talks with Argentine club Talleres regarding Sosa’s potential transfer.
However, Paraguayan publication Versus now reports that Talleres are not “entirely convinced” by Forest’s offer, indicating that the 24-year-old’s move to Europe may have fallen through.
