Norwich City striker Josh Sargent is expected to feature in the Canaries’ upcoming Championship match against Swansea on Saturday, despite concerns about an injury he reportedly sustained while on international duty.
Sargent did not play in the USA’s recent internationals, missing the 2-1 loss to Canada and the 1-1 draw with New Zealand. Initially, journalist Doug McIntyre suggested that the 24-year-old had picked up an ankle injury while with the national team.
However, these concerns were dismissed by Norwich head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup ahead of the team’s trip to Swansea. According to *The Pink Un*, Thorup confirmed in his Thursday pre-match press conference that Sargent would be available, joining the squad for training and being included in the matchday lineup as the Canaries prepare for their visit to South Wales.
