Rangers legend Michael Mols believes that Sam Lammers did not receive adequate support from his Ibrox teammates.
Lammers, who had a disappointing year at Glasgow, left the club yesterday evening in a £2.7 million move to FC Twente. During his time with Rangers, the 27-year-old scored only two goals in 31 appearances before going on loan to Utrecht in the Netherlands, where he found success.
According to Mols, Lammers lacked the same level of support from his Rangers colleagues that Mols himself experienced during his time at the club, which contributed to Lammers’ struggles in Scottish football.
