BREAKING NEWS:FSU Football Announces Another Sellout for Home Game Against Memphis

FSU football announces sell-out versus Memphis Tigers.

Florida State football continues its streak of selling out home games at Doak Campbell Stadium. The buzz around the team follows an undefeated regular season and a conference championship in 2023, despite being left out of the College Football Playoff.

On Tuesday afternoon, Florida State football announced that their home game against the Memphis Tigers on September 14 is sold out. This marks the fifth sold-out home game this season, following games against California (September 21), Clemson (October 5), North Carolina (November 2), and Florida (November 30).

The stadium is undergoing renovations, reducing its capacity for the 2024 season, with construction expected to be completed before the 2025 season opener against Alabama. Despite the limited capacity, the strong support from Seminole fans is evident, even with a revamped team.

Facing Memphis will be challenging for Florida State. The game is notable as it pits head coach Mike Norvell against his former team. Additionally, the Seminoles will be coming off a bye week after playing Boston College on Labor Day Night. Memphis boasts a potent offense that Florida State must prepare for. The noon kickoff could pose difficulties due to the heat, and strong fan support will be crucial.
