The Baltimore Ravens are continuing to pare down their roster as the 53-man roster deadline approaches. In the latest round of cuts, the team has parted ways with veteran wide receiver Anthony Miller and rookie tight end Qadir Ismail, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.
The Ravens are planning to release veteran WR Anthony Miller, sources say. Miller didn’t sound with the Ravens until about halfway through camp, but he played well. He’s a vested vet so he’s not subject to waivers. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Ravens try to re-sign him to PS.

Miller, who joined the Ravens on August 11, made a strong impression during his short stint with the team. Despite his solid performances, the 29-year-old wide receiver, originally drafted by the Chicago Bears in 2018, didn’t make the final cut. However, the Ravens are expected to consider re-signing him to their practice squad.
On the other hand, Ismail, who transitioned from wide receiver to tight end after signing with Baltimore as an undrafted free agent in May, showed significant progress during training camp. The son of former Ravens wide receiver Qadry Ismail, Qadir Ismail’s journey to making the team fell short, but he remains a potential candidate for the practice squad if he clears waivers.
Additionally, the Ravens released undrafted rookie running back Chris Collier earlier in the day. Collier, 24, had a modest preseason, tallying 28 carries for 82 yards.
With the 4 p.m. ET deadline looming, more roster cuts are expected as the Ravens finalize their team for the upcoming season.
