The 2024 WNBA All-Star game was packed with memorable moments on the court, but some of the most touching interactions happened off-camera. One such moment occurred during halftime when Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark approached Vanessa Bryant, the widow of NBA legend Kobe Bryant, and her daughters Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.
Clark and young Capri Bryant both wore matching Nike Kobe 6 Protro “WNBA All-Star PEs” shoes, and Clark pointed out their matching footwear, creating a sweet, shared moment. Known for her admiration of the late Kobe Bryant, Clark cherished the interaction with the Bryant family.
In her first WNBA All-Star Game, Clark scored four points and made 10 assists, although she missed all seven of her three-point attempts. Team WNBA triumphed over Team USA with a score of 117–109.
