Leicester City are reportedly close to securing a loan deal for Facundo Buonanotte from Brighton and Hove Albion, as manager Steve Cooper looks to make several moves before the summer transfer window closes.
The Foxes are set to wrap up their pre-season with a match against Ligue 1 side Lens at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis this weekend. Although the new season kicks off the following Monday night with a home game against Tottenham Hotspur at the King Power Stadium (8 pm), there will still be nearly two weeks left in the transfer window after the season opener.
According to the Daily Mail, Buonanotte is expected to be the first of several signings for Leicester before the end of the month. The 19-year-old Argentine has recently broken into the national team and already has a couple of caps to his name.
