Reports indicate that AC Milan is on the verge of finalizing a deal with RB Salzburg for Strahinja Pavlovic, potentially completing the transfer next week.

In the meantime, Milan may sell Malick Thiaw in the coming days, with Newcastle United showing particular interest. Thiaw’s departure would create a perfect opportunity for Pavlovic to join Fikayo Tomori in the defense.
According to today’s Corriere dello Sport (Page 30), Pavlovic is close to joining Milan, awaiting an agreement with RB Salzburg after rejecting an approach from Atletico Madrid to secure his move to Italy.
The Austrian club is asking for €25 million for Pavlovic, while Milan is prepared to offer €20 million plus additional bonuses, likely enough to seal the deal. Milan has already agreed on personal terms with the defender, offering him a five-year contract worth €1.5 million net per season plus add-ons.
