According to Corriere Di Verona, Everton has made a £6.8 million offer plus two bonuses to Hellas Verona for Jackson Tchatchoua. However, the Serie A club is holding out for at least £8.5 million upfront, with Tchatchoua under contract until 2027. Verona is firm on their price for the 22-year-old right-back, who has attracted interest from several clubs this summer.
Despite having Seamus Coleman, Nathan Patterson, and Ashley Young as current right-back options, Everton manager Sean Dyche is targeting a new signing for this position. Last season, full-back on both sides was a problematic area for Everton, with Mason Holgate occasionally filling in due to circumstances at Goodison Park.
