In the world of NBA free agency, the spotlight often falls on high-profile players, but sometimes it’s the quieter moves that make a substantial impact. Teams can make a difference by filling their final roster spots or finding contributions from players on two-way contracts.
Every season, some players emerge as key contributors despite not making headlines during the offseason. The Golden State Warriors, whose primary roster is nearly set, have recently signed G League forward Jackson Rowe to a training camp contract, according to Keith Smith of Spotrac.

Rowe played last season with the Santa Cruz Warriors, Golden State’s G League affiliate. He showcased his impressive three-point shooting during the Showcase Cup, hitting 28 of 54 attempts from deep (51.9%). This marked a significant improvement from the 35.8% he shot in his 31 regular-season G League games, highlighting his potential as a reliable shooter.
During his final season at Cal State Fullerton (2019-20), Rowe made 40.7% of his three-point shots on 4.3 attempts per game. His shooting success continued internationally, where he hit 42.9% of his threes in six games for Roanne of the LNB Pro A league in the 2020-21 season.
Rowe’s shooting ability, combined with his 6-foot-7 frame and athleticism displayed in the NBA Summer League, makes him an intriguing prospect. He will have the opportunity to further showcase his skills during Golden State’s training camp.
