Leicester City have reached an agreement with Juventus for a €30 million transfer of Matias Soule, following the rejection of their previous bid, according to Italian journalist Mirko Di Natale.
However, Soule reportedly prefers a move to AS Roma, and West Ham has also shown interest in the player.
The 21-year-old Argentine youth international started his career at Velez Sarsfield before joining Juventus’ academy in 2021. He advanced to their ‘Next Gen’ side and made his first-team debut against Salernitana in September 2021.

Last season, Soule was loaned to Frosinone, a team struggling in Serie A and now relegated to Serie B. He impressed many across Europe with his performance, scoring 11 goals and providing three assists.
His elegant and effective playing style has drawn comparisons to Argentinian stars Angel Di Maria and Paulo Dybala. In an interview with Italian publication TMW in 2023, his agent stated, “The comparison with Di Maria is flattering, but Matias is unique. He’s the second-best player for completed dribbles in Serie A, despite playing only four games.”
Leicester City has recently signed winger Abdul Fatawu but continues to seek additional attacking options. Soule, who plays a similar position, would provide valuable depth for manager Steve Cooper.
