Crystal Palace is poised to secure the signing of Ismaila Sarr from Marseille on a five-year contract. The Eagles had initially explored deals for Emile Smith Rowe and Antonio Nusa but appear to have missed out. Smith Rowe is reportedly heading to Fulham for a fee of around £35m, while Sarr’s transfer to Selhurst Park is expected to cost significantly less. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Sarr has agreed to personal terms with Palace, pending a deal between the club and Marseille. The 26-year-old winger made 23 appearances for Marseille in Ligue 1 last season, following his move from Watford in July 2023. Palace had been seeking to strengthen their attack after Michael Olise’s departure to Bayern Munich, and Sarr is now set to join the Eagles.”
