DONE DEAL: Newcastle United close to finalising £35m deal after broad agreement reached

Newcastle United is advancing well in their negotiations for Thiaw, with the two clubs nearing an agreement.

According to HITC, the total value of the deal will be £35 million, including add-ons.

Newcastle’s summer spending has been modest, securing deals for Lewis Hall and Odysseas Vlachodimos, with John Ruddy and Lloyd Kelly joining on free transfers.
