Karim Adeyemi, the 22-year-old Borussia Dortmund winger, has reportedly prioritized a move to Juventus, putting his Premier League suitors on hold. The Bianconeri are eager to strengthen their flanks, particularly with Matias Soulé close to joining Roma and Federico Chiesa potentially following suit. Juventus Football Director Cristiano Giuntoli met with Adeyemi’s family in Munich during the club’s pre-season camp to discuss personal terms, giving the Serie A giants an edge in the transfer race.
According to Tuttosport via JuventusNews24, West Ham United and Aston Villa’s proposals failed to impress Adeyemi, who has expressed his willingness to join Juventus. However, the main hurdle remains convincing Dortmund to sell, as the German club values Adeyemi between €40-45 million. Juventus considers this price tag excessive and aims to negotiate a lower fee of around €35 million.
Adeyemi gained recognition during his time at RB Salzburg, leading to his high-profile transfer to Dortmund two years ago. His contract with the Bundesliga club runs until June 2027. The left-footed winger offers versatility, capable of playing as a classic left winger, inverted right winger, or in a more central role.
