JUST IN: John Force Transferred to Neuro Intensive Care Unit

The latest update from John Force Racing (JFR) reveals more details about the condition of the 17-time drag racing world champion following his severe crash on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at the NHRA Virginia Nationals near Richmond, Virginia.

JFR announced that John Force has been moved from the trauma intensive care unit to the neuro intensive care unit. This move allows the medical team to concentrate on his head injury, which is their main concern.

Force’s family has been by his side since the accident. Supported unanimously by her family, team, and sponsors, Brittany Force will not participate in this weekend’s Summit Racing Equipment Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio. She will remain at the hospital with her family to support her father.

Austin Prock will represent the JFR AAA Chevrolet Camaro SS team this weekend.

The Force family expressed their deep gratitude to the medical staff caring for John Force and to everyone who has sent messages of prayer, support, and concern. The team also asked for continued respect for the privacy of the family and John Force Racing team members.
