
World No. 2, Novak Djokovic, has officially joined Maria Sharapova as a business partner of Aman, taking on the role of the company’s first Global Wellness Advisor. Together, they will promote Aman’s prestigious hotel collection worldwide.
Djokovic recently entered the 2024 US Open following his historic win at the Paris Olympics, where he secured his first singles gold. After defeating Radu Albot and fellow Serb Laslo Djere, Djokovic advanced to the third round, with his sights set on a record 25th Grand Slam title.

In a separate announcement, the 37-year-old tennis star revealed his new role with Aman. On Instagram, the hospitality company shared the reasoning behind selecting Djokovic for this position, highlighting his alignment with their philosophy of wellness and longevity. Djokovic’s remarkable resilience and adaptability have kept him at the top of his game for over a decade.
Aman Essentials CEO, Kristina Romanova, warmly welcomed Djokovic with a message on her Instagram story: “Welcome to the family @djokernole.” Djokovic expressed his appreciation by reposting it, adding, “Thank you… Happy to be part of the family.”
Maria Sharapova, former World No. 1 and five-time Grand Slam champion, was previously announced as Aman’s first brand ambassador. She will be curating exclusive wellness retreats at select Aman properties, focusing on medical treatments, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being, as well as her personal fitness routines.
Djokovic has also shared his excitement about the partnership, noting that his personal wellness journey, which integrates mental health, nutrition, and fitness, will be a valuable resource for Aman’s guests. He stated, “It’s a privilege and a pleasure to share the wellness practices that have supported my success both on and off the court.”
The 24-time Grand Slam champion is known for his commitment to well-being, having embraced a gluten-free and dairy-free diet. He has often spoken about the importance of routine and the benefits of his wellness practices, most notably during a pre-Wimbledon appearance at the ASICS House of Tennis.
