OFFICIAL: Norwich City have announced the signing of 21-year-old Ghanaian midfielder from Red Bull Salzburg.

Forson has officially signed with the Canaries on a four-year deal, with an option to extend for an additional year.
Having started his career at the West African Football Academy (WAFA) in Ghana, Forson made the move to Red Bull Salzburg in 2021. During his time in Austria, he gained valuable experience through loan spells at Liefering and Rheindorf Altach. At Norwich City, Forson will be wearing the number 18 shirt.
Expressing his excitement about joining the club, Forson said, “I’m really happy and excited to come to the club. The head coach has worked with many young players before, and it’s great to be here working with him.”
Norwich City’s sporting director, Ben Knapper, spoke highly of Forson’s skills and the potential he brings to the team. “Forson is a talented and well-rounded player who will add quality and versatility to our squad,” Knapper stated. “He has progressed through an excellent player development system and brings experience from the Champions League, as well as being a senior international with Ghana. We believe he is a great fit for our team, and I’m confident we can help him develop further and achieve great things together.”
