“We’re not out here winning games to put pressure on anyone,” Cora stated to Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com. “Our goal is simply to win because we want to win.”
Currently trailing the Kansas City Royals by just half a game for the wild card spot in the American League, the Red Sox have impressed with a 45-39 record overall, buoyed by emerging talents like Jarren Duran, Wilyer Abreu, and established stars such as Rafael Devers. The pitching staff, under new coach Andrew Bailey, has also shown improvement.

Cora faces a pivotal season managing on an expiring contract, sparking speculation about his future with the organization.
