REPORT: Leicester ‘initiate discussions with Arsenal regarding a loan deal for the talented striker’

The 24-year-old appeared 14 times as a substitute for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side in the Premier League last season but didn’t manage to score or assist. His only league start came in Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Luton in April.
Nelson has started only 10 matches for Arsenal over the past two years. He spent the 2018-19 season on loan with Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga and another year with Feyenoord two seasons ago. According to The Sun, the England Under-21 international is now set for his third loan move away from north London.
The report states that Nelson is on the verge of joining the newly-promoted Leicester City, reuniting with his former England youth team manager Steve Cooper. The deal is expected to include an obligation to buy.
