Tottenham Hotspur has slashed more than £27 million from their wage bill by releasing several players this summer, sources informed Football Insider.
The club confirmed that Eric Dier, Japhet Tanganga, Ivan Perisic, and Ryan Sessegnon will officially leave the club on June 30 when their contracts expire. Additionally, Tottenham reached an agreement with Tanguy Ndombele to terminate his contract a year early.

According to Football Insider, Tottenham agreed to pay Ndombele £5 million to end his tenure in North London after he spent last season on loan at Fenerbahce. Ndombele was the highest earner among those departing, with a six-year contract worth £200,000 per week following his £63 million transfer from Lyon in 2019.
Ivan Perisic, who earned approximately £178,000 weekly, recently secured a permanent move to his boyhood club Hajduk Split, where he was on loan for the latter half of the season. Eric Dier earned around £72,000 per week, Ryan Sessegnon approximately £58,000, and Japhet Tanganga £23,000 weekly.
Sources told Football Insider that Tottenham has saved around £27.6 million from their wage bill with these early-summer departures. Although Spurs are not close to breaching the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules, player wages accounted for £251.1 million of the club’s expenditure in their most recent financial accounts.
Further exits are expected in the coming weeks as new manager Ange Postecoglou plans to overhaul the squad this summer. Last month, Football Insider reported that Tottenham would consider offers for several senior players to help fund potential new signings.
