According to Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur is currently negotiating with Aston Villa over a deal to sign two players, one of whom is Jacob Ramsey.
Tottenham’s Pursuit of Aston Villa Duo
Throughout the summer, it has been widely reported that Jacob Ramsey is a top target for Spurs. Johan Lange, Tottenham’s technical director and former Aston Villa employee, is said to be spearheading the club’s efforts to acquire the 23-year-old midfielder.
Recently, Sky Sports suggested that Tottenham was attempting to include Giovani Lo Celso in the deal for Ramsey. Now, Football Insider claims that Spurs are discussing a three-player swap deal with Aston Villa. This potential agreement would see Lo Celso move to Villa Park while Ramsey and another unnamed Villa player would join Tottenham.

Potential Swap Deal in the Works
The proposed deal reportedly involves Spurs offering Lo Celso to Aston Villa as part of the transfer package. Villa values their academy graduate Ramsey at £50 million, and Tottenham aims to offset this cost by including a player in exchange.
Spurs’ Strategic Moves
Lo Celso is currently representing Argentina in the Copa America, where the team has advanced to the final after defeating Canada.
If Tottenham and Aston Villa cannot agree on Ramsey’s valuation, adding another player to the negotiations may further complicate the deal. As of now, it seems likely that Ramsey will remain at Villa Park this summer.
