Passion and dedication can lead to remarkable achievements. For NHRA Pro Stock driver Troy Coughlin Jr., this journey has earned him a place in the White Castle Hall of Fame.
Coughlin was recently honored with induction into the White Castle Cravers Hall of Fame at the company’s headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. The “Craver Extraordinaire” title is awarded to notable individuals who have shown a deep passion for and commitment to the White Castle brand.

“I’m incredibly honored to be inducted into the White Castle Cravers Hall of Fame,” Coughlin said. “White Castle is one of my favorite brands, not just because I love their Sliders, but also because it’s based in my hometown of Columbus and it’s a multi-generational, family business that I can relate to. It’s a well-known brand with a lot of excitement around it. Being inducted and visiting headquarters was a majestic experience that I’ll remember forever.”
Coughlin’s affinity for White Castle began during his Junior Dragster racing days. His father, Troy Sr., established a tradition of stopping at White Castle drive-thrus for sliders after races.
White Castle, founded in 1921 by Billy Ingram, is the first fast-food burger chain in the U.S. and remains family-owned. The Cravers Hall of Fame, created in 2001, now includes 275 dedicated fans. Notable inductees include rocker Alice Cooper, designer Telfar Clemens, TV personality Adam Richman, and actors Kal Penn and John Cho.
